Great Canadian Films is an Indigenous owned and operated business founded in 2020 with a simple goal: Create a bespoke storytelling company that is easy for clients to trust with their message.
Our client centric approach to storytelling has allowed us to grow from a simple team working part time, to a multi-talented and multi-disciplined team of passionate storytellers who work across Alberta.
In 2024 we started on an ambitious plan to continue growing our corporate video work while also launching a narrative department. We developed a script for a pilot series called Crumbs and received funding to pursue it’s principle photography in 2025.

Founder | Producer
Tracy Luc-German is a producer and photographer who has transitioned her storytelling into video format. She graduated from SAIT's Photojournalism program in 2018, and her storytelling has taken her to places like Mexico, Tanzania, and her own backyard in Alberta. Her creative endeavors were inspired by her artistic mother and her dance background, which began at the age of three. She is currently partnered with Telus StoryHive to bring her passion project, Poetry in Motion: An Anthology of Dance, to life.
Principal photography on this passion has wrapped, and it’s waiting for it’s debut on Telus Optik.
